Randall Lee Southerland was born on December 15, 1962 in Jefferson County, MO.  He was the son of the late Vonnie Southerland and Della (nee Coffman) Brown.  He died on November 6, 2025 at his home in De Soto, MO at the age of 62.

Randy is survived by his son, Patrick Southerland of Waukegan, IL; a sister, Elaine (Daniel) Buttino of Austin, TX; and a granddaughter, Harley Southerland.

Randy served in the U.S. Air Force and had work security at Jefferson Memorial Hospital and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and most recently at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Deborah Southerland.
