Leland James “Lee” Klump was born May 29, 1936 in Perry County, MO. He was the son of Lawrence and Laverne (nee McClain) Klump. He died on June 2, 2014 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (nee Aubuchon) Klump, De Soto, MO; children, Gary (Lisa) Klump, Hillsboro, MO; Richard Klump, De Soto, MO; Cheryl (Brian) Wyatt, Hillsboro, MO; and Kevin (Deanna) Klump, Simpsonville, SC; one brother, Lindell (Sandra) Klump, Ste. Genevieve, MO; one sister, Mary Louise (Ron) Schrum, De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Cherie Wyatt-Ent; Miranda Grewe; Andrea Klump; Allen Klump; Alex Luger; Brian Wyatt; Natalyn Klump; and Stuart Inman; great-grandchildren, Trevor, Morgan, Tyler, Zander, Tristin, Josh, and Collin. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Larry Klump and one sister, Imogene Jennings. Lee was a supervisor at Chrysler Corporation; member of U.A.W. #136; and served in the Missouri National Guard. As an expression of sympathy memorials donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
