Scott, I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with Carl and I always knew that when he promised something, I didn't have to worry about it. Scott

In the short time I knew Carl he seemed to me a very kind and generous man. His legacy will live on for many years as a great contributor to amateur radio. He has for many years graciously supplied equipment for several radio repeaters throughout a good portion of the State of Missouri and possibly the border states as well. Condolences to his family and many friends.

Carl hired me on the spot when I applied for a job at the Potosi location of Fine Labs in 2000. I was a kind of "girl Friday" for them - everything from typing bids to delivering finished products to Boeing in St Louis. Carl was quite a character and there was never a dull moment when working for him and Betty. I'll always remember their kindness when my mother passed away in Jan 2001. I had to quit to care for my dad after that, but it definately was a year to remember. Prayers to you all.
