Mary Jane Lewis was born in Old Mines on August 12, 1942 a daughter to Chester Paul “Diamond T” and Mary Magdalen (nee DeClue) Coleman. She died at Des Peres Hospital on April 26, 2015 at the age of 72. She is survived by her children: Chris (Terri) Lewis, Independence, Tim Lewis, Pacific, Roberta Ribble, Bonne Terre, Lisa (Adam) Ramey, Hillsboro, and Jeff (Patty) Lewis, Phoenix, AZ; ten grandchildren: Josh, Justin, Hannah, Gavin, Madison, Lance, Bridgette, Shelby, Stephanie, and Taylor; four great-grandchildren: Parker, Patience, Tyler, and Noah; and three sisters: Frances Johnston, De Soto, Joan Houston, De Soto, and Imelda “Millie” Popp, Independence. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers-in-law: “Bum” Johnston and Jim Houston.
