Please know that I had great respect for Mr. Scott. At the point where our lives intersected with Mr. Scott and you the family (the early summer of 1968), I have many, many fond memories. Mr. Scott was a real friend and asset to my father, Rev. E. O. Flowers, when he was the pastor at Walther Park Baptist Mission (which constituted as Parkview Baptist Church). My father once said that if all deacons were like Bro. Marvin that churches would not have any problems. We respect you as a family and are praying you will experience God's comfort and care. Praise the Lord for Bro. Marvin's faith!
