Sarah Bicklein
October 8, 1977 - September 10, 2026
Sarah Bicklein, of House Springs, Missouri, passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 48.
Sarah was, quite simply, one of the sweetest people you could ever hope to know. Kind and gentle, loving and caring, she had a warmth about her that made people feel comfortable, welcomed, and loved. She cared deeply for the people in her life and gave of herself in a way that was genuine and without expectation.
Above all else, Sarah loved her sons, Kaleb and Owen. She loved them fiercely and unconditionally, and being their mother was one of the greatest and most important parts of her life.
Sarah is survived by her sons, Kaleb and Owen Ingram; her mother, Mary Forrest-Bock and Jane Bock; her brother, Kelly Bierbaum and his wife, Sarah; her stepmother, MardiAnne Bierbaum; and her stepdaughter, Reagan Bicklein. She is also survived by Ben Ingram, the father of her sons and her former husband, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Waburn “Willie” Clarence Bierbaum.
For more than 20 years, Sarah worked as the Office Manager of Crystal City Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Her workplace became much more than simply a job. She loved her coworkers Tressa, Trish, and Nancy, as well as Dr. Avellone, dearly, and the relationships she built there over the years meant a great deal to her.
Sarah loved to travel and especially looked forward to the annual floating and boating trips she shared with Kelly and Sarah and her friends Christine and Courtenay. More recently, she took up frisbee golf with a good friend who also introduced her to new foods and cultural experiences. Sarah shared that this chapter of her life had made her the happiest she had ever been.
Sarah found joy in the traditions and activities that brought people together. She loved attending the annual Eagles Wings Kids charity trivia night and was fiercely competitive when it came to daily Wordle challenges, Words With Friends, and a family favorite, Progressive Rummy. She enjoyed playing pool and bowling and treasured all the fun, laughter, and friendly competition that came along with them.
She also had a special love for lighthouses. Sarah found them peaceful, beautiful, and majestic—a quiet beauty that spoke to her and brought her a sense of calm.
Sarah adored her cats, Millie and James, who brought her tremendous pleasure and companionship.
Those who knew Sarah will remember her gentle spirit, her kindness, her laughter, and the genuine love she had for the people who mattered to her. She leaves behind countless memories of trips taken, games played, laughter shared, and ordinary moments that now feel anything but ordinary.
Most of all, Sarah will be remembered for the way she loved. She loved her sons fiercely, her family deeply, her friends sincerely, and the people who became family along the way. Her absence will be felt profoundly by those fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
