Edward Clyde Hanna was born July 10, 1939 in Chaffee, MO. He was the son of Robert Clyde and Lucy (nee Mahaffey) Hanna. He died on October 17, 2024 at Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Louis, MO at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his daughter, Cindi (Jim) Maddock, Rock Hill, MO; grandchildren, Hanna and Owen Maddock.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Ellen James “Jamie” (nee Davis) Hanna, one daughter, Teresa Schultz, and one brother, Robert Dennis Hanna.
Mr. Hanna retired from the De Soto High School as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director. Then he went on to serve as Director of the Graduate Program for the St. Louis area for Southwest Baptist University.
