Dear Bowen Family,
I am so very sorry for your great loss. I always remember our fun times on Lansdowne as kids. You were our first neighbors in the summer of 1961, and we had so many childhood adventures together.
May you find peace and comfort in the days ahead of all your loving memories of your mother.
Sincerely,
Donna Watson Dawes

We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you now and in the sad days ahead. I hope just knowing how much Betty was loved and admired will give you an idea of the great number of people who are sharing in your grief now, and somehow make it easier for you to bear.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I always share the sadness of ones who lose their older loved ones. Even tho they have lived a long life, saying good-bye for now is so hard. I got alot of comfort from the Bible's account found at John 11:11-44 where Jesus brought his dear friend Lazarus back to life. It gives us a clear picture that death then is as it is now, a huge painful experience for any to endure. But the hope Jesus gives when restoring Lazarus back to life is so comforting. Sure we have to wait to hold our loved ones longer than Martha and Mary did to hold Lazarus again, but it will come just as Jesus promised. That is why he called himself "the resurrection and the life". So while we wait on his father the great Time Keeper, Jehovah God, may his peace soothe your sad hearts and give you comfort and strength in this coming days. May your hope in seeing Betty again never grow dim.
