Jesse Lee Guenther was born September 17, 1933 in Bliss, MO. He was the son of Ed and Dollie (nee Miller) Guenther. He died on September 8, 2026 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia C. (nee Maloney) Guenther, Imperial, MO; three children, Allan Guenther, Old Mines, MO; Darlene (Terry) Kavanaugh, Bonne Terre, MO; and Kathy (Scott) Boyer, St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Tabatha Veach, Dane Kavanaugh, Jody Guenther, Greg Guenther, and Crystal Boyer; great-grandchildren; siblings, Delmar Guenther, Potosi, MO; Glen Guenther, Potosi, MO; Frank Guenther, Blackwell, MO and Shirley Johnson, Fletcher, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren, Shaun Boyer and Tadd Boyer; two brothers, Art Guenther and Bill Guenther; sisters-in-law, Theresa Guenther, Wanda Guenther, Esther Guenther, Jeanette Guenther, Donna Guenther and a brother-in-law, Gene Johnson. Jessie was a U.S. Navy Veteran in the Korean War. He was also a member of the Amvets Post #48.
