I have very fond memories of Adelaide as well as her sister Cathy. They were very good friends of my parents, Gilbert and Delores Long. ofent they would come to our house and play cards and talk politics. Anne Long Forrester

One of the first persons the Weber family came to know in De Soto was Adelaide--always a smile--always an interest in those around her--always a love for De Soto and all that was happening. Surely a loving God is holding her close in his arms. She served him so well. Mary Alice Weber

Bill and I have many fond memories of our visits with Adelaide. We remember how she always suggested playing six handed euchre. Cathy , you were so good to her. You are in our thoughts. We send our love June & Bill

Adelaide had to be one of the most aware, most in tune 90+ year old human being I have ever known. I will always treasure her ability to size up people of all ages and relate honestly to them as well. It was always a treat to watch her orchestrate our "happy hours" where 12-15 people would be quieted by her soft voice. I will miss her. Dick Obershaw

I enjoyed watching Adelaide ride her bike and playing cards with her the one time. She was a delightful lady. Cathy was so devoted to her. I never had a sister, but would adopt Cathy in a minute. Bless the family. Sharon Nelson

My mom (Ginny Spitzer) had a wonderful time with Adelaide when she was in Florida. Mom passed away in 2012 but always remarked about how young and energetic the 2 sisters were. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and be sure to tell Cathy that I said hello. Janet Marston
