Violet Jarvis was born January 30, 1929 in Old Mines, MO. She was the daughter of Charles B. and Genevieve (nee Hinch) McEwen. She passed on January 6, 2018 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her children, Daniel Jarvis, De Soto, MO; Gary (Donna) Jarvis, Broomfield, CO; Norvel Jarvis, De Soto, MO; David (Emily) Jarvis, Cadet, MO; and Joyce (Corky) Northcutt, De Soto, MO; one sister, Mildred Ames, Lemay, MO; grandchildren, Amber Jarvis, Cameron (Korin Pusillo) Jarvis, Kyle (Renee) Northcutt; Adam (Helen) Northcutt; great grandchildren, Keaton Allen & Rowan Jarvis. She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Janet Jarvis and an infant child; one grandson, Colin Jarvis; and one brother, Malcolm (Ethel) McEwen.
