Violet was one of the nicest, most gentle people I have ever met. She possessed an inner strength the likes of which I've very seldom seen! Violet was very kind to me when I first moved to Missouri to be with David. She really went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and at home. I will never forget that! It was heartbreaking to watch what happened to her in the last few years of her life. She was unable to do any of the things she loved, sewing, cooking, and caring for her beloved chickens! I just know that now that she is free, she is singing with the angels. May you rest in perfect peace, "the peace that passeth all understanding!", dearest Violet. Just know how very much you were loved and appreciated! In the words of the old spiritual: ". "Some glad morning when this life is over I'll fly away. Like a bird from prison bars has flown, I'll fly away!! Fly away, sweet bird, right into the Father's arms!! We will love you always!
