I have known Tom since 1982, when I was a Deputy with the JCSD. It was Tom who encouraged me to apply for a position with State Farm Insurance, and Tom who became a close friend, confidant and mentor during our mutual time at State Farm. I sought his advice and counsel often. I always admired his intelligence, composure and confidence. He was a real gentleman, willing to do anything to assist a co-worker. I am sorry I am scheduled to work on 11/24, and will not be able to attend the service, but am hoping you will find some enjoyment and peace from the plant I've sent in honor of his life.
