It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ron Schardan. He has gone home to his heavenly reward.
Born in St. Louis and lived on the farm that he loved for 33 years. Ron was a beloved husband of Danielle Schardan (nee Nichoalds) for 62 years. Loving father of Stacey Endebrock (nee Schardan), Scott Schardan, dear father-in-law (pop) of Melissa Schardan (nee Clark) and David Endebrock. Grandfather of Zoe and Grace Schardan and Jamie Frank (nee Endebrock) and her husband Josh Frank, and great grandfather of Marian, Olivia, and Isla Frank.
Ron was a science teacher of 34 years in the Melville School District and science department chair for 20 years. Ron pastored the youth group at Parkton Assembly for many years, and then taught Sunday School at First Baptist in Desoto until his passing. He was an avid fisherman, accomplished gardner, and lawn mower supreme! Always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to the people he met, he strove to bring happiness to the people around him, especially family.
We will miss him with all our hearts, but know our grief is only for a moment, for we have the joy of knowing will see him again.
