Thelma Marie Parish was born January 19, 1930 in Potosi, a daughter to Anna (nee Bay) and Clarence Cresswell Sr.  She died September 6, 2009 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto at the age of 79.  She is survived by her husband  Earl E. Parish, De Soto; two daughters Ruth (John) Dearing and Debbie (Ricky) Dollar both of De Soto; a sister Dorothy Umfleet, De Soto; grandchildren Richard (Mindi) Wentz, Rev. John (Andrea) Dearing, Amanda, and Jason Dollar; and great grandchildren Jack Dearing, Shaelyn Dollar, Lily Renfro, Alex and Jackson Wentz.  She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Diana Wentz; a grandson James M. Dearing; three brothers Theo, Gilbert, and Clarence Cresswell Jr. and one sister Faye Cresswell.
