William Scot Vivrett was born in Bonne Terre on September 13, 1960 a son to William H. and Nancy B. (nee Fenton) Vivrett. He died April 17, 2014 at his High Ridge home at the age of 53. He is survived by his wife: Joan (nee Frisch) Vivrett; his parents; his step-mother Jeanie (nee Collins) Vivrett, Manchester; two children Maggi Vivrett, St. Louis, and Paul Vivrett, High Ridge; one brother: Matthew (Aria Bettinger) Vivrett, Pheonix, Oregon; and two step brothers: Paul (Lorie) Petterson, St. Peter’s and John (Adel) Petterson, Ballwin.

He was a bricklayer and a member of International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #1. Among his fellow craftsmen throughout the Metro area Scot was considered to be a master stone mason and the go to guy for projects with stone work and especially restoration work. Among these projects were: Busch Stadium; (Brickwork below the Press-box); Bellefontaine Cemetery (Stone work on wall );Bonhomme Presbyterian Church (Original Old Stone Church Restore); St. Louis City Library (Restore); St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Des Peres (New Stone Addition).

Tom Harland of the Gateway Christian Church, Des Peres, MO, will officiate the graveside service at 2:00PM Thursday, April 24, at the De Soto City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Scot’s family or the Vivrett family strongly recommends a memorial gift to Shiloh Christian Children’s Ranch, 601 North Center Street, Shelbina, MO 63468, again in lieu of flowers.
