Rusty, Nathan, Mary, you are in our thoughts at this sad time. Rusty, I will always remember the unit on weather in your elementary school class. One day your father called me and asked if I'd like to have Dave Murray come to our classroom. Of course, I thought it would be great but seriously doubted that would happen. A few days later, lo and behold, Russ called and said that Dave Murray would be at our classroom on a certain date and time. I was stunned and amazed that your dad could get it done! He did the same thing with Bob Richards and your class, Nathan. Those visits were wonderful memories for the first graders and me, as well. I'll always be grateful that your father did that for us.
