Robert William Powers was born December 14, 1925 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Daniel Leo and Lillie Frances (nee Williams) Powers. He died on July 29, 2020 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto, MO at the age of 94 years. He is survived by his two brothers, Lawrence (Waltraud) Powers, De Soto, MO and Daniel (Dorothy) Powers, De Soto, MO and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dorothy B.E. (nee Lewis) Powers; sisters, Lillian (Bill) Hoehn and Alice (Paul) Westhoff; and one brother, Francis Powers. Bob worked at Chrysler and did maintenance at De Soto Public School. He was very active with the De Soto Senior Center and delivered “Meal on Wheels” for thirty years and a member of the First United Methodist Church, De Soto, MO.
