Robert Bernard Boeving, Sr. was born on October 4, 1939 in Fayetteville, IL. He was the son of Albis and Virginia (nee Hoff) Boeving. He died on September 10, 2023 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson at the age of 83.
Robert is survived by his wife, Rita (nee White) Boeving of De Soto; children, Renee Walker of Granite City, IL; Robert “Bobby” (Heidi) Boeving, Jr. of Festus, MO; Richard (Denise) Boeing of De Soto; and Ryan (Dawn) Boeving of De Soto, MO; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joyce (the late Lester) Waller of Millstadt, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Robert was a member of BPOE #1721 and of Teamster’s Local 618. He enjoyed playing cards, NASCAR racing and hunting.
