Raymond John Lammert was born on August 19, 1935 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Frank & Helen (nee Scherren) Lammert. He died on September 2, 2026 at his home in Festus, MO at the age of 91.
Ray is survived by his son, Rick (wife, Tobie) Lammert of Irondale, MO; granddaughters, Kelly (Bryan) Meyer & Kim (Austin) Dames, great-grandchildren, Remington, Emerson, and Maverick; and siblings, Frank Lammert of Arnold, MO; David Lammert of Arnold, MO; Janet Raymo of Cuba, MO; and Diane Vergano of Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (nee Andresen) Lammert; one son, Roger Lammert; and two brothers, Ralph Lammert and Alvin Lammert.
Ray was a retired machinist for Sonoco Composite Can Division. He was very active and a proud Past Exalted Ruler of the BPOE #689; also had served as a Past Master of the Arnold Masonic Lodge; and a member of the Sons of AmVets Post 48.
