Hazel E. Hughes was born June 6, 1943 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of Arthur and Hazel (nee Thebeau) Haller. She passed on October 11, 2026 at Crystal Oaks in Festus, MO at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her children, Gerry (Christine) Kastner, Bloomsdale, MO and Donna (Richard) Bollinger, Ste. Genevieve, MO; her step-children, Sharma Hughes Gearhart, Imperial, MO; Lynn Hughes Hammock, Potosi, MO and Joseph William “Billy” Hughes, Bloomsdale, MO; one brother, Darrel (Deanna) Haller, Kirbyville, MO; two sisters-in-law; Mary Ann Haller, Ste. Genevieve, MO and Vicki Haller, Festus, MO; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William P. Hughes and three brothers, Arthur “Butch” Haller, Dwight Haller and Donald Haller.
