Patty, you know how much we loved you and still do. We are comforted knowing that you are with your beloved Jesus and that you are up there painting sunsets for God. I always relish my time in the outdoors as you certainly knew and I always marvel at God's wonders and creations. Now when we are sitting in our treestands and see the first morning light or the setting sun in the evening we will think of you and all your great talents and your love of our Saviour. Godspeed. Can't wait to see you again. Take a ride on Yo-Ho for me. Kiss my Mom and Dad and Suzy. Tell Tweets and Tay that I love them. We miss you girl! To Dusty and the kids, We love you guys more than you know and if you need anything, please let us know. We are there for you.

Patricia worked at the Doctor's office I went to. She was SO kind, sweet, and considerate. With an infectious smile that could eclipse the Sun! ALWAYS, looked forward to going to that Doctor, only, because Patty would be there - usually. on the 7th, I asked an employee ''Where's Patty, haven't noticed seeing her today''., She sobbed, and told me of her sudden passing one week exactly before. Am still so sad such a warm, sweet soul has been taken from us way too soon.....

To The Rhodes Family We at med-Vac were all very shocked to learn of the passing of Cheston’s Mother. Cheston is a fine young man. It’s easy to see where his values come from. I met Dusty Rhodes at the recent Med-Vac Christmas party. I am so sorry for your Family’s loss and pray a speedy recovery from this very difficult time. Allan Ringering Med-Vac

Patty was my best friend for as long as I can remember. We spent countless hours together & those memories will be forever engraved in my mind and heart! Her family was like a 2nd family to me. I was privileged to have her as my maid of honor & to be a part of her wedding, as well. We rejoiced with each other over the births of our children (Cheston & Justin, just 3 months apart). Many miles have separated us over the years, but when we were together it was just like "old times". She was a beautiful person, inside and out! I still can't believe that she is gone, but I am so thankful that I have the assurance that one day I will see her again! To all of Patty's family--May God give you peace and strength in the days to come.

Dusty, Casey, Cheston , Claire , Uncle Glen and Aunt Carolyn. There are no words for the grief we all are bearing. No explanations or answers to help make this all make sense. Without God's Grace and comfort it would be unbearable. We tend to want the answer to why but our Lord answers back with why not? A talent as fine as hers, along with a kind loving soul and tender heart, would surely be in high demand in his kingdom . As she is rejoicing with family that has passed before her, may we that are left, with a giant size hole in our hearts, be filled with Gods spirit. Patty worked daily at 'walking the talk' and she is now reaping her rewards. Gods speed to you my dear and trusted friend.

I was so saddened to hear that Patty passed away. We had fun times together in DeSoto, both at church and at school. Patty was so kind-hearted and always made you feel good about yourself. I hope Patty's family can find strength in God's love even in such a difficult time.

I've been asking God, "Why?" I guess we don't get to know the 'why' I just pray that God covers your husband and children in His mercy and strength. It's going to be difficult, and reaching out to Him is the only comfort. I keep making myself picture you with your hands and face raised to Jesus and the light of His greatness shining on you. Until we meet again...

I had the pleasure of getting to know Patty through her amazing painting gift and talent. She has painted seasonal murals for the Bank of Hillsboro windows for the last several years. Our customers and employees looked forward to each seasonal change and what Patty would create. You couldn't talk with Patty and not feel her warm spirit. I am at a loss for words to express how very sorry I am that she is gone. My sincere sympathy to her family. My heart hurts for them.

Like I wrote to Claira,... Patty was my H.S. best friend. She was the one I looked up to and trusted; giggled and dreamed. I was in her wedding and came home from college to see her proudly reveal her firstborn son. Our conversations after our families grew, were fewer. I loved checking on her through fb and could see her life was full and she was happy. I could see also that her love for the Lord had grown stronger. She was always a light but her light was growing brighter. She became stronger in her witness and deeper in love with God. I don't believe people become Angels, or that God needed her. God doesn't need anything...He is God. I do believe that He knew the number of days she would walk this earth and helped her live them to her fullest. I believe there was great rejoicing in heaven upon her arrival and I do believe that she is full of peace and joy. They say 1 day in heaven is like a thousand years. So I know her wait for you will be painless and short. Your wait for her however will, I'm sure, be very tough. I pray that you will trust the Lord with ALL your feelings and questions. Live life well. It is a gift and will go by faster than you can imagine. Treasure your friends and family. Stand for truth and like your mom said recently, 'do more than believe'. I love you because I love your mom. She was a gift to me...and I am forever changed. Blessings, Susan (Suzy Pogorelsky)

Our deep condolences to the Berry & Rhodes families. We did not know Patty personally, but we know she is our sister in Christ. My husband knew Dusty from years back growing up. Patty it is clearly evident you sure got it right with your Saviour from the life you lived. Not knowing you personally, hearing the life stories from your friends just glows with your love for Christ. We will be praying for you all as you go through this time. Remember to turn your eyes upon Jesus and he will comfort you. God bless you.

I'm still in shock to hear that Patty has 'gone home'! Although I had lost contact with her over the years, I still remember vividly the wonderful days when I babysat her as an infant. She has always been precious to me. My heart goes out to her wonderful family over this great loss. We don't always understand God's reasons but we must trust in HIS infinite wisdom and unconditional love. Patty is now in heaven with loved ones who have gone before her. Two of whom are my parents. They also loved her dearly. She was my Daddy's "Sweetie Pie". We will miss you Patty and Love to your family!

My thoughts and prayers to Dusty, Casey, Cheston, & Claira....I am at a loss for words. Patty was not only a co-worker but a dear friend. I am truley blessed that I was able to spend her last day (though it was at work) with her. She truely was an angel on earth, and now an angle in Heaven. Her faith carried her daily. She will be greatly missed. RIP my dear friend.

Our sympathy to all of the family. Patty was such an incredible person, it is hard to believe she is gone. We have a lot of good memories of Patty from the days when Juanita and Homer were next door and Patty would babysit for us. I am sure she is in Heaven with them now, but how she will be missed here. You are all in our prayers!
