Mina Lee Hooker was born November 19, 1919 in Water Valley, MS. She was the daughter of Walter Lee and Lily Pearl (nee Lowe) Barton. She passed on January 2, 2017 at Crystal Oaks Assisted Living in Crystal City, MO at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Gene Moyer) Reeves, Kansas City, MO; numerous grandchildren including Jeff (Jill) Viehman and Tara Viehman; numerous great-grandchildren including Brandon (Tiffany) Viehman, Grant Viehman, and Ava Viehman;  and numerous great-great grandchildren, including Lizzie Towsley. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Marlon Hooker; one daughter, Marlene Faye Dollar; sisters, Pauline Dyroff, Claudine Goff, and Margie Keeney; and one brother, Walter Barton. Mina was an accomplished seamstress and a member of the First Baptist Church of De Soto.
