Michael Lynn Charlton was born on August 12, 1952 in Ironton, MO. He was the son of James and Bessie (nee Valentine) Charlton. He died on October 17, 2021 at his home in De Soto at the age of 69.
Michael is survived by his wife Jacque (nee Lewis) Charlton of De Soto; his children, Kristina “Kris” Schrameyer of De Soto; Lisa (Dr. Luis) Espinoza of Wichita, KS; and Ryan (Molly) Charlton of El Dorado, KS; grandchildren, Kayla Charlton, Jordan Marshall, Gabriela Espinoza, Mario Espinoza, Nicolas Espinoza, Cami Espinoza, Shaela Charlton, Clara Carlton and Henry Charlton; sister, Marion (Paul) Schweitzer of McLean, IL; sister-in-law, Gay Charlton of Bentonville, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael was a member of the First Baptist Church of De Soto. He owned and operated De Soto Express Trucking and Trio Drayage before retiring from Yusen Logistics.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son-in-law Brian Schrameyer; brother, C.J. Charlton and sister Dorothy Lowe.
