Michael Charles Phares was born in St. Louis on May 22, 1951 a son to Charles Asa “Ace” and Veneta “June” (nee Lewis) Phares.  He passed peacefully surrounded by his family at his De Soto home on April 24, 2026 at the age of 74.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years Marcia (nee Luster) Phares; three children: Karen (Tod) Allison, Robertsville, Rachel (Daryl) Roth, De Soto and Josh (Natalie) Phares, De Soto and six grandchildren: Nadia Roth, Nolan Phares, Lincoln Phares, JoElla Phares, Brody Phares and Mia Phares.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  Mike was a registered nurse having worked at Washington County and Jefferson Memorial Hospital and Country Meadows and FountainBleau Nursing Homes.
