Charlotte B. Laratta was born in Rural Hillsboro on March 4, 1936 a daughter to Earl E. and Lucy A. (nee Minker) Kite.  She died at Hillcrest Care Center, De Soto at the age of 90.  She is survived by her daughter Susan Chandler;  a granddaughter Angela Denman; great grandchildren: Wade and Aurora; her sister Ethel Wilson; nieces Stella , Natasha and Niko; great nieces and nephews Ricky, Jr., Kelly, Jaidyn, Isaiah, Ezra and Isaac and great great nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bill Laratta; her daughter Joyce Laratta; her sisters Cora Hamman and Georgetta Thompson; her brothers Edgar Kite and Luther Kite; her son in law Donald Chandler; her brothers in law David Hamman, Chad “Thorny” Thompson, Sr. and Bill Wilson and a nephew Chad “Thorny” Thompson, Jr.
