Mary Lou C. Keckley was born on December 29, 1935 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of Joseph & Louise (Oster) Meppiel. She died on March 7, 2026 at her Bonne Terre home at the age of 90.
Mary Lou is survived by her son, Ronald (Cindy) Keckley of Herculaneum, MO; her daughter, Karin Keckley; sister, Shirley Pyatt of Bonne Terre, MO; grandchildren, David P. (Christen) Keckley of Wilmington, NC; Nolan (Desirae) Keckley of Farmington, MO; and Cody (Christey) Westover of Wilmington, NC; 6 great grandchildren; and her caretaker, Steve “Rabbitt” Harris.
Mary Lou married Carl H. “Pete” Keckley on March 3, 1962 in Las Vegas, NV. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, one son, David E. Keckley; one daughter Carla J. Keckley; a brother, Joseph Meppiel and a sister, Marg Benson.
