Marlin A. Voyles was born on July 25, 1946 in Brickeye a son to Robert and Thelma (nee Patterson) Voyles. He died at his Richwoods home on April 8, 2022 at the age of 75. He is survived by his daughter Regina (Tony Glamann) Voyles, Festus; his son Marlin (Misty Emily) Voyles III, Richwoods; two grandchildren: Colby (Lauren) and Kali; two great grandchildren: Liam and Laityn; two sisters: Janet Click, Richwoods and Rosemary Morris, Farmington; four brothers: Joe Voyles, De Soto, Norman Voyles, Hillsboro, Kenneth Voyles, Gales Ferry, CT and Larry Voyles, De Soto and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dianna (nee Schutte); his sister Joan Bernice Voyles; three half sisters: Lorine Voyles, Betty Voyles and Bonnie Voyles; and three half brothers: Clyde Voyles, Melvin Voyles and Donald Voyles. Marlin served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Laborers’ Union Local #660.
