Lila Mae Spradling was born on March 17, 1949 in De Soto, Missouri. She was the daughter of Lysle Franklin & Anna Mary (nee Lindsay) Filkins. She died on February 11, 2025 at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County, Missouri at the age of 75.
Lila married Leslie Spradling on August 8, 1969 at St. Andrew’s Methodist Church in De Soto. In addition to her husband Leslie Spradling of De Soto, she is also survived by her three children, Weslie Lysle (Mary Jane Mills) Spradling of Des Moines, IA; Lindsay Ann (Tom) Webb of De Soto; and Leslie Aleen Watts of Albuquerque, NM; and her grandchildren, Lucas Watson, Gavin Watson, Ethan Watts, Evan Watts, Emma Watts, Harper Spradling, and Egan Deschamps.
Lila was a retired school teacher and a beautiful piano accompanist. She had played for many area churches and funerals over the years, she was a very talented musician and a member of the Mt. Olive Global Methodist Church in De Soto.
