In Memoriam: Kenneth Wayne Reese – September 19, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, cherished grandfather, and esteemed entrepreneur, Kenneth Wayne Reese. He passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on Tuesday, September 19th surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 20, 1941, grew up to be a man of great integrity, dedication, and passion. He was not only a proud father of two children, a loving daughter and son, and married to his beloved wife Audrey for 57 years. Together, they raised a beautiful family, and he leaves behind a legacy that will continue to shine brightly.

As a young man, Ken answered the call of duty and served his country with unwavering patriotism. He served in the Army honorably for 2 years. His commitment to the principles of freedom and service was a source of pride for his entire family.

After his military service, Ken embarked on a journey as an entrepreneur. His entrepreneurial spirit and tireless work ethic led him to establish his own business, Quality Auto Care, which became a beacon in the community and a source of livelihood for Ken and his family as well as those that he worked with in the local communities.

Ken was not only a successful businessman but also a devoted family man. He leaves behind two loving children, Kenneth Duan Reese and Tracy Lynn Reese, who carry forward his legacy of resilience and love. He was a cherished grandfather to four grandchildren, Alex, Robert, John and Sophia, and a beloved great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren, Rachel, Jessie, Kayla, Avery, and Joshua. Ken adored spending time with his family, sharing stories of his life’s journey, and passing on his wisdom and values to the younger generations.

Ken will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments and military service but also for his kindness and generosity, he showered upon his family and friends. He was a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration to his family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private celebration of Kenneth Wayne Reese’s life will take place on October 14th, 2023. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, a cause close to Ken and the family’s heart.

In his memory, may we find solace in the beautiful moments we shared with him and the enduring legacy he leaves behind. Kenneth Wayne Reese will forever remain in our hearts, a shining example of a life well-lived, a loving husband, father and grandfather, a dedicated servant of his country, and a successful entrepreneur.
