Julia A. “Julie” Greenlee was born in St. Louis on October 27, 1944, a daughter to Paul H. and Wilma “Willie” (nee Bell) Politte.  She died on October 22, 2019 at Hillcrest Care Center at the age of 74.  She is survived by three children:  Denise “Dee Dee” Greenlee-Kirkpatrick, De Soto, Belinda “Binky” Greenlee-Summers, De Soto, and Dennis Greenlee, II, St. Louis; four grandchildren: Ryan Greenlee, Samantha DeLarber, Natasha Jackson,  and Lesley (Jon) Slade; five great-grandchildren: Sierra, Rilynne, LeAnna, Olivia, and Ian; four sisters: Ginger (Tracy) Jones, De Soto, Barbara (Jack) Spitzer, Foley, AL, Ann (Richard) Hynes, University City, and Susan Dragon, University City;  two brothers: Mike (Jane) Politte, De Soto and Pat (Margarita) Politte, De Soto and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dennis Greenlee, Sr.; a daughter Rachel Greenlee; a great-grandson Mason and a sister Sarah Politte.  Julie had worked as a teller for State Bank of De Soto and had also owned and operated the Hourglass Figure Salon.  She had also worked at Lane Fitness Center in De Soto and volunteered in the Library at Vineland Elementary School.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers’s Association, “Team Julie” 9370 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO  63132
