John Schneedle was born in De Soto on October 6, 1927 a son to Frank and Mattie (nee Fuller) Schneedle.  He died at his De Soto home on September 18, 2025 at the age of 97.  He is survived by his children: Pat (John) Fischer, De Soto, Loraine (David) Martin, De Soto, Joyce (Bill) Sellers, De Soto, Louis (Phyllis) Schneedle, Potosi, Tim (Susan) Schneedle, Stark, FL and Jon (Lisa) Schneedle, De Soto; fourteen grandchildren,twenty-five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dolores (nee Christian) Schneedle; an infant child; two grandsons, Simon Fisher and Jacob Martin; three sisters Lillian Goldsberry, Genevieve Whitaker and Frances Heidbreder and a son in law Joe Fischer. John was a Korean War veteran. He had retired as a mechanic for Austin Transmission and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
