I am truly sorry about this terrible loss. Jacob was truly a class clown and made everyone laugh all of the time. I had the pleasure of teaching him this year and he was a very bright young man. He will be missed very much. I know he is in better place and at peace. His family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.
With Heartfelt Sympathy,

jacob was in all my classes and he was a class clown. He always made everyone smile and laugh. He will be in my thoughts and it will be weird for the next couple weeks without him in all my classes.

There are no words that could be said to take the pain and heartache away. All I can say at this point is that my prayers and thoughts are with you. There could be nothing worse that could happen to parents than losing a child. Again my prayers are with you.

The students and staff of Wentzville Middle School mourn the loss of Jacob Luster. He was a great kid! I have enjoyed hearing stories from teachers about Jacob; his memory will be cherished.
We will take care of the school friends he has left behind. Wentzville Middle is here for the Luster family; let me know what we can do to help.

I am very sorry to hear about Jacob. I just this morning (Monday, 2/25) found out. I have had Jacobs picture with some of his classmates from Heritage on my refrigerator since last May. We had a get together in Mrs. Kellers room to celebrate her first, 1st grade class, going to middle school. Please know that Jacob and all of his family are in my prayers. He touched many lives during his short time on this Earth.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Jacob always had a way to change something from a serious conversation to one of the funniest. He was what you would call one of a kind. You don't find a kid like that every day with a great personality. He may be gone, but he will NEVER be forgotten.

I'm so sorry. We all loved your son. He was so funny and made us laugh! I remember in Basket Ball camp his nickname... Monkey Man. He loved it. I remember him smiling at the cafiteria and saying some of the funniest things. I'm sorry. We all miss him so so much. He was awsome. He is missed greatly. We will never forget him... or the turtles. Praying for you.
P.S. (Bye Jacob)

Jacob,
I am so sad this world is not going to have you in it anymore. I always thought you were a sweet and wonderful child and then young adult. Ashlee is going to miss you in P.E. It seems like just yesterday you and Ashlee had your first day of second grade together. I will think of you when Ashlee walks across the stage to get her diploma. I will imagine you right there with her. You will always have a special place in my heart and I will always remember your sweet and sincere smile you always had on your face. I know your parents are grieving you right now but I know you are safe in Gods arms and someday I will see you again. I miss you.

I had the pleasure and privilege to work with Jacob in third grade at Heritage Intermediate. Jacob often wore that mischevious, fun-loving smile so many have mentioned already. He had a gentle heart and kind nature. He was always willing to help classmates and teachers. Jacob was a charming student, always keeping us laughing with his witty sense of humor. He touched my heart, which aches at his loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. In greatest sympathy, Kim Adkins

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Luster & Katie,
We are so sorry for your loss. Tears are streaming out of my eyes as I write this. Jacob was our daughter Kate's best friend in the neighborhood. She misses him so much and told me last night that she "has not had any dreams for the past nineteen days."
I can see him on our front porch, skateboard in hand, asking if Kate can come out to play. Jacob always beat her in basketball. Kate says she still owes him a piece of gum.
Rest in peace, Jacob. You brought happiness to many people in your short life. You will be missed and never forgotten.

I wish there is something I could do for you right now but I know there is nothing I can do to take your pain away.
Jacob was always such a sweet, thoughtful and fun boy. He always kept the family laughing and smiling. We will all miss him.

I had the pleasure of working with Jacob this summer during our Chataqua program. He was a bright, funny, and likable young man, who often had me laughing when I knew better in class. I saw him a number of times in the halls this fall and he always had a sly grin and a hello for me when I jokingly asked him if "he was being good?" in sixth grade. As a parent, I grieve for the pain and heartache I know you both must feel at his loss. As an educator, I grieve the loss of so much potential so soon and wonder how I can help more in the future. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Words can not express how sorry I am for you and your family. Please know you are all in my thoughts & prayers. From the moment I meet you I knew you were an incredible Mom. When you interviewed me and we talked about how important our kids were. And all the times since that you have shared stories of Jacob & Katie. Stay strong God will get you through this. If there is anything I can do please ask. ~Kate
