Gene Steighorst
October 26, 1928 - July 14, 2008
Gene Steighorst was born on October 26, 1928 in Payson, Illinois. He was the son of Lela Steighorst of Payson, IL and the late Edwin Charles Steighorst. He died on July 14, 2008 at his residence in Hillsboro, MO at the age of 79 years.
Also surviving is his wife Marilyn (nee Hagenbaumer) Steighorst of Hillsboro, MO; two sons, Mark (Pam) Steighorst of Barnhart, MO; Doug (Terry) Steighorst of Hillsboro, MO; and one daughter, Kay (Steve) Dunn of Hillsboro, MO; 7 grandchildren, Blake (Lindsey), Brooke, Blair, Michael, and Megan Steighorst;, Kaylin Rasmussen, and Kara Dunn; and two great grandchildren, Mia and Max; and one brother, Larry D. (Marge) Steighorst. of Payson, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father.
