Donald Neal “Toby” Tilley was born on March 15, 1931 to Henry Cecil and Elvina (nee Moses) Tilley in Ruble, MO. He passed away on January 11, 2018 at his residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 86 years.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jean (nee Fields) Tilley, they were married on February 19, 1954. They had six children who all survive: Ronald (Ilene) Tilley of De Soto; Barbara (Donald) Womack of De Soto; Brenda (David) Clinton of Union; Deanna Williams (David Edwards) of Blackwell; Susan (Lance) Brewen of Bonne Terre; & Steven (Cheryl) Tilley of Hillsboro. He has 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews & friends.
He worked for Carter Carburetors for 29 years. He retired from Gerding Enterprises in 1993.
He served in the U.S. Army active duty during the Korean War and was in the Army Reserves.
He was a member of the Jefferson County Coon Club and loved to hunt and fish. He also loved spending time with his family & friends.
