Crystal Faye Freeman was born in Hillsboro on October 18, 1949 a daughter to Lester Ray and Ida Murilla Jean (nee Drennen) Huskey. She died at Mercy Hospital-Jefferson on October 2, 2020 at the age of 70. She is survived by Michael James “Jim” Freeman, her husband for nearly 50 years; two sons: Clint (Cathy) Freeman, Barnhart, and Lee (Rene) Freeman, Festus; three grandchildren: Clayton, Cailey, and Zach ; one sister Sally (Bob) Riggs; and several nieces and nephews. Crystal had worked in the Deli for Queen’s Market in Hillsboro. She was a member of First Baptist Church-Hillsboro and volunteered at the De Soto Elks Lodge.
