Bob J. Gamble was born in Fletcher on March 8, 1957 a son to Jack and Melba (nee Cordia) Gamble. He died at his Festus home on August 14, 2018 at the age of 61. He is survived by his parents; his wife Constance “Connie” Nadine (nee Woodland) Gamble, Festus; children: Nichole (Adam) Lewis, Festus, Josh Gamble, Nashville, TN, Bonnie (Tony) Sampson, De Soto, and Gary (Jessica) Skaggs, Portland, OR, eight grandchildren; two sisters-in-law Pennie Ritchie, De Soto, and Karen Lord, Pevely, and one brother-in-law: David Woodland, Potosi. Bob was a retired Supply Sergeant for the Missouri National Guard having served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He most recently worked in the transportation department at John Cochran V.A. Hospital. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to: American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project.
