- A funeral procession will leave the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10 AM to arrive at the Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis for a graveside service at 11 AM.

Betty Jean Farrar was born on August 6, 1948 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of Vincent & Ethel (nee Bohle) Eberhard. She died on November 22, 2025 at her home in De Soto, MO at the age of 77.
She is survived by her husband, John Farrar, Jr. of De Soto, MO; her children, David (Diane Mayer) Maurer of Las Vegas, NV; Joseph C. Maurer, III of Baltimore, MD; and Jennifer Maurer of Maryland Heights, MO; 2 grandchildren, Cameron Maurer and Kierston Maurer; and a sister, Shirley (the late Bob) Leahy.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a “domestic engineer”, a member of the First Baptist Church in De Soto and a member of the Red Hat Society.
