- Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 30 at 11 AM at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., De Soto, MO 63020
- Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30 from 10 AM – 11 Am at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home
- Interment will follow the funeral service at the Woodlawn Cemetery, De Soto, MO

Barbara dedicated her life to helping others. She took excellent care of her parents as they aged. She spent her career helping younger children improve their reading skills. She also helped college students with literacy. A sad ending for such a life.

Barb was a founding member of The Friends of Washington State Park. She helped us at our fund raising events and cared about this park. She was also a dedicated animal love and an awesome person. We will surely miss this wonderful, kind lady. RIP Barb.

Hard working, independent...a person you could look up to. She was my 6th grade teacher and I saw her at Victoria Methodist church too. My Condolences to her family and friends.

She was a really nice lady. She taught me reading in five or sixth grade at Hillsboro. I have good memories of her. Sorry for the family.
