William Roberts
October 17, 1924 - January 5, 2007
William R. “Bill” Roberts was born October 17, 1924 in Uniontown, Kansas a son to Earl and Martha (nee Davis) Roberts. He died January 5, 2007 in De Soto, MO having reached the age of 82. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Dorothy (nee Washburn) Roberts; two daughters Gail(Michael) Collins and Pam (Don) Spencer; one sister Pearlie Poore; one grandaughter and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters; Ellen Clarke, Mildred Chervenka, Ann Barnes, and Anita McCracken and by two brothers; Fielding and Floyd Roberts as well as his parents.
Mr. Roberts was an Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II, a life member of AmVets Post #48, Barnesville Lodge #53 AF&AM, Robberson Prarie Baptist Church, and Operating Engineers Local #513.
