- Interment: Pendleton Cemetery, Doe Run, MO
Virginia R. Morris was born in Marmaduke, AR on May 16, 1942 a daughter to Galen and Sarah (nee Storie) Gossett. She died at her De Soto home on August 16, 2023 at the age of 81. She is survived by her husband Charles Morris of De Soto; two sons: Lonnie Morris, Hillsboro and Tim (April) Morris, De Soto; four grandchildren: Daniel (Lindsey) Morris, Byrnes Mill. Amy (Eric) Mitchell, De Soto, Caleb (Madison) Morris, De Soto and Kylie Morris, De Soto; six great grandchildren: Luke, Chloe, Aidyn, Malachi, Kensington and Oliver and one brother Roger Gossett, Iron Mountain. She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister Vera McCracken whose husband Victor survives living in Byrnes Mill and one brother Robin Gossett whose wife Elaine survives living in Pilot Knob. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Kid’s Church Camp Fund c/o New Hope Fellowship, 4776 Highway B, Hillsboro, MO 63050.
