Virginia Marie Gottschalk was born Aug. 5, 1934 in St. Louis, MO a daughter to Francis “Frank” and Alvina Pellet.  She died July 31, 2010 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center at the age of 75.  She is survived by one daughter Kathy (Bobby) Berry, four sons; Steve Gottschalk, Jerry Gottschalk, Rick (Kristine) Gottschalk, and Jim (Peggy) Gottschalk; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Kenneth W. Gottschalk.  She was an active member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Hillsboro, MO and was retired after working several years in the Jefferson County Assessor’s Office and the office of the Collector of Revenue.  Rev. Fr. Chris Holtman will celebrate the funeral mass and officiate the interment at the Parish Cemetery.
