She is survived by her children, David Woodard, Arnold, MO; Carmen (Ed) Smith, Farmington, MO; Donald Thompson, Jr., Jerseyville, IL; and Carol Thompson, St. Louis, MO; one sister, Fran (Richard) Yount, Arnold, MO; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Jack Thompson; one son, Gary Thompson; and one brother, Wayne Woodard. Shirley was a seamstress for Wiseman Theatrical.
