Great scoutmaster. He had a love for seeing young minds grow and achieve and a discipline that you learned quickly didn\'t waiver. Earned the respect of many a young men.

Thank you for all you taught me as a youth, and for pushing me to become an Eagle Scout. Had it not been for you allowing me to go with your troop 890 to summer camp because my troop 543 at the time wasn't going. I more than likely would have quit scouts. At the time I never realized our families would grow close. Rest in Peace Mr Strayhorn!
