Sheridan Ann Goodwin was born in De Soto on February 27, 1943 a daughter to Glenn and Edith (nee LaPlant) Ames. Sheridan graduated from De Soto High School in 1961. She married Robert A. Goodwin on December 14, 1963. She is survived by two sons: Robert A. Goodwin. Jr., De Soto and Michael (Lisa) Goodwin, De Soto; three grandsons Robert T.D. Goodwin, Colton Goodwin and Chance Goodwin; her sister Mary Katherine (David) Wade, Festus; her brother Glenn Edward “Ed” (Bobbye) Ames, Wentzville; two sisters in law: Sandra (Harold) Maness and Patricia Goodwin as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved Agape Faith Church family. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 59 years Robert A. Goodwin, Sr. Sheridan was a school librarian, a respected child care provider to many local families before becoming a house keeper at Jefferson Memorial Hospital for many years. After retirement she continued to care for family and spend time with her husband Bob and her three precious grandsons. Sheridan was most fulfilled when serving others. She lived in service of the Lord and to her family.
