Shane Martin Kuykendall, Sr. was born in Granite City, IL on January 3, 1972. He died at his rural Festus home on November 2, 2025 at the age of 53. He is survived by his wife Margaret “Margie” (nee Patterson) Kuykendall; four children: Shannon Greer, Potosi, Shane “Bubby” (Carissa Handegan) Kuykendall, Jr., French Village, Amanda Kuykendall, Festus and John (Heather) Kuykendall, Festus; nine grandchildren: Alexa, Amelia, Cordell, Piper, Ryker, Ryler, Ryver, Johnathan, Lexi and Autumn and one brother Joshua Kuykendall. He is preceded in death by his father Harry Kuykendall, his mother Ronda (nee Davis) Schutte and his step father David Schutte. Shane was a truck driver having worked most recently for Pazdera Trucking.
