My deepest sympathies to all of you in Sandy's family, and my salute to you, for the loving and generous way in which you cared for her during her illness. Family was absolutely everything to Sandy, and she was blessed to have all of you.
I will remember Sandy's laughter and her sense of humor, her caring for her students, and her devotion to family and friends. I am glad to have had the privilege of working with her, and of being her friend. I am saddened by her loss, but I also know she is in a far better place now, free of pain and no doubt giving Bob Dietrich a piece of her mind by this time!! I wish I could be there for her service, but know that I will be thinking of you all.
God bless all of you. Mary Huss

We went to school with Sandy; she was in my class, a couple of years behind Wayne.
My first teaching job was in Hillsboro in fifth grade. Then we moved to Cape Girardeau so that Wayne could finish his degree.
We were friends with Marie Emerson Hahn, so when she moved to Cape, she would keep us informed about Sandy and Bob.
Our thoughts and prayers are for all of Sandy's family and friends.
God bless, Dee and Wayne
