Sandra V. Bowen was born on December 27, 1947 in Ashville N.C. a daughter to Jesse and Sarah (nee Madden) Harris. She died at Mercy Hospital – South on July 12, 2021 at the age of 73. She is survived by her parents who live in Festus; her husband Randy Bowen, Goose Creek; four children: Timothy (Patricia) Abney, Normal, IL, Angela (Timothy) Wingerter, Herculaneum; Katie Bowen, St. Louis and Adam Bowen, De Soto; her grandchildren: Lezli (Kevin Urfer) Pettit, Michaela (Austin) Kemp and Sarah (Stephen) Hassell; great grandchildren: Landon, Liam, Kashton, Addalee, Micah, and Julia; two sisters: Carol (Dan) Flatbush, De Soto and Melissa (Greg) Schultz, Festus; two brothers: Jerry (Mona) Harris, Hillsboro and Jimmy (Cindy) Harris, St. Clair and a sister in law Susan Harris, St. Louis. She is preceded in death by her brother David Harris. Sandy had retired from Metal Container Corporation where she had worked as an adjuster. She enjoyed crafting, rehabbing furniture, going to flea markets and thrift stores and music. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Camp Hope, P.O.
