Sorry about your mother. I still remember some of the things I learned in her class. You both are in my prayers. I know how hard it is to lose your mother. We just have the memories now.

Micaela, So sorry to hear about your mother passing. But wow, 99 years old. That was good to know. She was a great teacher for me at De Soto (grad '68). I live in St Louis now and do church music all the time with my jazz flute husband. I have a son and daughter and 2 grandchildren. It was nice to read to obit and to learn about where you are.
