Rose Lee Paneck was born March 7, 1916. A daughter to Edward and Elsie (nee Graf) Karger. She died on October 20, 2016 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto, MO at the age of 100. She is survived by her children, Harold M. (the late Ruth) Paneck, Jr., St. Louis, MO; Gloria Jean Young, Des Moines, IA; James (Becky) Paneck, Columbia, MO; and Rita (Ron) Barttelbort, Blackwell, MO; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and one sister: Lila (Art) Guttensohn, Hunstville, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents her husband, Harold M. Paneck, Sr. and two sisters: Donna Garrard and Kitty Karger. Rose worked as a clerk at Ben Franklin Store; International Hat Co., Gravois Bank; and P.N. Hirsch; after retirement she was a volunteer at Jefferson Memorial Hospital and volunteered at Hillcrest Care Center. Rose was known for always remembering special events of her family and friends by sending them cards.
